If you dry them in the microwave, oven, or using air and sun, then you need to lay the halves outer side up, and if you dry them using an electric dryer, you need to lay them outer side down.

How to dry apricots in the oven

If you do not have an electric dryer, then the oven method is suitable for you at home. It is important to be vigilant and closely monitor the temperature here.

The algorithm for this method is as follows:

  1. Place the prepared apricots (it is important to arrange them so that there is space between them) on a wire rack covered with parchment or baking paper;
  2. Preheat the oven to +40-60 degrees and place a wire rack with apricots inside. Monitor the temperature, do not let the oven heat up more than 60 degrees.
  3. After removing the slices from the oven, keep them at room temperature for a while.

IMPORTANT! Open the oven door occasionally to let air in and stir the fruit as it begins to dry out.
