Champagne is an integral attribute of the New Year holidays; it is drunk during the chimes and is often given as a gift when visiting. If you also support the tradition of presenting friends and family with a bottle of sparkling drink, then you have probably thought about how to make this mini-present more interesting.

We bring to your attention an unusual variation of decorating champagne for the New Year with candies - pineapple. Materials :
- champagne;
- corrugated paper (green);
- glue gun;
- twine;
- scissors;
- about 60 candies (in gold wrappers).
Step-by-step instruction:
- Remove any labels from the bottle. Place in water (summer or cool) for half an hour, then remove lightly and wipe with a towel.
- Cut out about 10-12 leaves from green paper. Attach them to the top of the bottle (with glue) and leave to dry.
- Take one candy at a time and glue it to the bottle (from bottom to top). If you wish, you can put yellow foil paper under each candy, it will turn out a little brighter and more interesting.
- Tie the bottle with twine at the top (at the junction of sheets and candies), tying a small bow.
Making a trunk
For a candy tree trunk, choose 1 of 4 options:
- paper cone;
- glass bottle (champagne);
- plastic bottle;
- a cone cut from polystyrene foam.
If you settled on champagne or polystyrene foam, your dessert frame is already ready.
You need to make a cone out of paper or a plastic bottle. We take a bottle without a neck and bottom, cut the remaining part lengthwise - it turns out to be a square.
Next, the algorithm is the same - we make a circle from the existing base, cut out a segment from it (¼, ⅓, ½ part, depending on whether you like tall or wide trees more). We twist the cone, bend the edges inward and glue it together.
To make the barrel hold better, you can stuff it tightly with crumpled newspaper and make a stand. To do this, prepare another circle (outline the base of the resulting cone and add 1-2 cm along the edges), make 1-2 cm long cuts along the entire length of the circle with the same step, bend the resulting “fringe” and glue the stand to the cone behind it.
To prevent white spots from showing through under the candies, choose a suitable color for the trunk and cover it with fabric. And even easier - color it.
Decor with candies and tinsel
A bottle of champagne for the New Year, decorated with sweets and tinsel, can be an excellent gift for parents or aunts and uncles. To make a surprise, prepare the following materials:
- champagne;
- tinsel;
- decorative beads (golden shade);
- star (gold);
- candies (in gold or bronze wrappers);
- glue gun;
- small bows (golden shade).
Execution order:
- The first step is to thoroughly clean the future surprise from the labels.
- Then place dots (in a circle) with a gun and attach tinsel to the entire area of the container with the sparkling drink, leaving only the golden top.
- Between the tinsel, attach (with glue) 3-4 candies in each row.
- Glue a star on top.
- Complete the decor with bows and beads.
- Leave until the glue dries completely (ideally overnight) and you can hand it over.
Safety precautions
Before you decorate a bottle of champagne with your own hands, you should definitely familiarize yourself with safety precautions. After all, if handled incorrectly, champagne can explode, causing dangerous injuries with fragments.
For the first experience, it is advisable to completely abandon the rather capricious champagne. It is better to start decorating experiments with safer bottles of non-sparkling drinks - since decorating bottles of cognac or wine is easier (the likelihood of being injured during the work is lower). Such drinks are not under high pressure and will not explode when decorated.
If it is necessary to design a bottle of champagne, then you need to follow a number of mandatory rules:
- Before starting work, you need to carefully inspect the workpiece . The slightest cracks, chips, uneven color of the bottle (glass thickness) indicate that it is not suitable for decoration;
- avoid sudden temperature changes . You cannot start working with a bottle recently removed from the refrigerator or brought from a cold street;
- Do not heat champagne while working (use a hairdryer to dry individual layers of paint, use a heat gun, etc.);
- Do not shake the contents of the bottle. Movements during operation should be moderately smooth and uniform; a sharp shake can lead to spontaneous opening of the plug.
It is worth noting that even strict adherence to all the rules does not guarantee one hundred percent safety, but only reduces the risk of injury to a minimum.

Do you need a candy present for a guy or a man? Then pay attention to this master class. You will need:
- champagne;
- foil paper (golden shade);
- twine (gold);
- sweets that the recipient likes (half a kilogram);
- satin ribbon (dark brown);
- chocolate candy bars in brown wrappers;
- corrugated paper (brown);
- plastic;
- stationery knife;
- round candies in gold wrappers (3-4 pieces);
- glue gun;
- scissors.
Step-by-step instruction:
- To begin, cut a circle out of plastic, the diameter of which should be 3 times larger than the bottom of the bottle.
- Attach chocolates to it (with a fence).
- Remove labels from the glass base and wrap it in foil paper. Tie the upper part with twine.
- Place the container with the sparkling drink inside the resulting circle (it is better to glue the bottom so that it holds better).
- Fill the empty part with candies.
- Cut another circle, but with a hole for the bottle. Decorate it with foil paper and close the resulting “stash.” By the way, you can put not only sweets inside, but also some kind of mini-present.
- Now cut out another (this time the last) circle, the diameter of which is slightly larger than the resulting structure. It will serve as a stand on which you will present your creation. It should also be decorated with foil.
- Make some flowers from corrugated paper and golden candies.
- Attach the decor to the bottle and the top of the composition. If you wish, you can make several golden leaves and add them to the decor.
- Finally, tie a ribbon around the bottom, tying a small bow.
- Wait for the glue to dry, move it to the stand and hand it over.
