When choosing hair dye, many people prefer henna because of its natural origin. The composition not only gives the strands a beautiful shade, but also strengthens their structure. At the same time, henna has a significant drawback - a relatively complex rinsing process that requires a competent approach.
Why is henna so difficult to remove from hair, and how long does it last after dyeing?
Henna is a powder obtained from the dry leaves of Lawsonia nonprickly, and is used in many eastern countries to decorate the body. The composition of plant raw materials includes resinous components, essential oils, vitamins C and K, as well as organic acids. The natural pigments present in henna give the hair a russet, red or bright orange tint.
Important! The main feature of henna is its gentle effect on the structure of the hair being dyed: it envelops the native pigment, forming a surface film, and thereby does not damage its integrity.
As a result of using henna, the hair structure becomes denser, helping to increase volume. However, such an effect has its drawback. The enveloping plant pigment makes it impossible for other coloring compounds to penetrate into the hair . In this regard, washing off henna and trying to change hair color is accompanied by difficulties, which becomes the reason for abandoning this product that is beneficial for hair in favor of other formulations.

LET'S CUT IT OFF! What's next? This post was inspired by a girl who wrote to me about her regret after cutting off her long hair. What problems will befall those with long hair who decide to try a short haircut? 1. A short haircut needs to be updated more often than a long hair cut. For example, I can trim the ends once every three months, or I can completely forget about it, wearing only tied up hair all the time. It won't work with a square. Already two months after the haircut, you will begin to notice hair growth, and the haircut will no longer lie like it did after the hairdresser. And you will step on a dangerous path - should you cut your hair or grow your hair? 2. You will miss some of the gestures that are typical of long-haired people. For example, placing your hand behind your back to comb the length of your hair. You will put your hand behind your back, and it will be empty; you will feel uneasy for a while. 3. There will be nothing to throw on the pillow.
