Amway stain remover is produced by the American company Amway (short for American Way). It was founded in the 1950s in Michigan.
In 1959, the first all-purpose biodegradable cleaner was released. In the 1960s, the company's sales increased and branches were opened in other countries. In 1968, the Artistry brand of decorative cosmetics was launched. In the 1970s, the range expanded and dietary supplements appeared.
In 1971, a representative office was opened in Sydney. In the 1980s, sales exceeded $1 billion. The company initially entered the Russian market with household chemicals in 2005.
What can be said about the quality of its products? A number of experts believe that due to the low requirements imposed by Russian standards, the quality of Amway products has deteriorated. In real life. as natural, made from plant materials. Let's see what is written on the package.
Amway stain remover composition:
1. soda ash; 2. fatty alcohol ethoxylate – surfactant; 3. hydrogenated fats of coconut and palm acids - surfactants; 4. trisodium citrate – citric acid; 5. sodium perborate – bleach; 6. sodium metaborate anhydrous – scale inhibitor; 7. sodium metaborate; 8. baking soda; 9. sterol sulfonate; 10. fumaric acid; 11. silica gel; 12. bleach activator so that it works at low water temperatures; 13. anionic surfactant; 14. Carboxymethylcellulose; 15. sodium salt; 16. subtilisin; 17. titanium dioxide; 18. sodium polyacrylate; 19. sodium phosphonate; 20. bleach; 21. table salt; 22. fragrance. As you can see, this composition does not look natural, so you should be wary of the advertising claims of consultants and read the label.

- Direct a stream of stain remover onto the stain;
- Leave for 1-2 minutes;

The manufacturer promises that it will remove stains from decorative cosmetics, ballpoint pens, juice, grass, oil, plasticine and chewing gum.
What is it really?
Amway stain remover reviews:
Olesya, 30 years old, Ekaterinburg:
“This product always helps me out. One day we went to a barbecue at the dacha, and a fat piece of meat fell on my husband’s trousers. A friend who distributes Amway products gave me this stain remover. I sprayed the stain, waited 15 minutes and washed it with regular soap. As a result, the stain disappeared."
Sveta, 33 years old, Moscow:
“Until the quality of the stain remover deteriorated a couple of years ago, I bought it regularly. Now it does not remove old stains. I applied it to the stain and soaked it after 1 minute. If you don't do this, it will dry out and won't wash off. Everything was washed even better in combination with the same powder, but it turned out to be a little expensive. One 400 ml bottle lasted me 6 months.”
Tatyana, 41 years old, Tula:
“Very pleased with this product. I use it for difficult stains. I’ll tell you how I use Amway stain remover to remove chewing gum from clothes. First I spray on it, everything is as in the instructions. After a minute I slowly pick it out, and it begins to lag behind. I repeat if necessary. After this, I either rinse or wash the item. Similarly, I removed stains of dried paint, and even plasticine from my daughter’s clothes!”
Maria, 25 years old, Tambov:
“I had a favorite white blouse with black sequins. I washed it many times with regular powder. Somehow I succumbed to the persuasion of the consultants and bought Amway powder and spray. I decided to try them on just this blouse, which I accidentally put a cherry stain on. I did everything as expected: I applied it to the stain, waited 5 minutes and dipped it in a solution of their washing powder. After 20 minutes, I pulled out a blouse from the water covered in black stains, i.e. The stain remover mistook the sequins for dirt. I was very disappointed."
Olga, 28 years old, Voronezh:
“I put a grease stain on my red skirt. It was far from new, it had been washed many times and had not faded. It seems like I did everything according to the instructions, but faded spots formed in place of the greasy spots. I covered the skirt completely with stain remover, but it didn’t help, these stains are still very noticeable. This stain remover also has a very strong chemical smell, I try to hold my breath when I work with it.”
Elena, 30 years old, Rostov-on-Don:
“I don’t understand the claims about this product. Many people will first put a stain, wash it with a bunch of different products, wash it, rub it well, but it still remains in place. Only after this, for some reason, do people grab Amway. Naturally, it won’t remove anything, since the stain is already firmly ingrained as a result of your actions. My husband is a cook. He somehow put 3 bright spots on his uniform. I sizzled them and left them for 20 minutes. When I arrive, the spots are still there. I was already starting to get upset, but then I put my shirt in the water and rubbed it a little, and the stains came off. I’ll give you some advice: don’t expect a miracle, buy several products with different functions.”
Elena, 26 years old, Volgograd:
"I have a little baby. Now he is learning to feed himself, but so far he can’t get half of it to his mouth and all his clothes are stained with puree. I bought this product, although it was not cheap, and hoped for results. I did everything as written, but only fresh stains are removed, which I can already wash off with regular powder. The greasy stain didn't come off either. I complained to the seller, and she started trying to sell me more of their powder and some product, all worth almost a thousand rubles. It’s cheaper for me to take a few new T-shirts for the child. So I have an almost full bottle.”
Irina, 32 years old, Samara:
“I would like to talk about the advertising campaign of Amway distributors, namely the removal of brilliant green and iodine stains. If, of course, you are a doctor and constantly work with them, the product will suit you. But if the stain is old and has long dried, you will never clean it. And regular powder will do a good job with fresh stains.”
Amway stain remover spray is quite economical and is useful in households for removing stains on collars and cuffs on men's shirts. It is better to use it for fresh stains.
If you are tormented by dirty cuffs and collars, you can try buying Amway stain remover in a small bottle. But if you are happy with your product, there is no point in changing it.

Review of universal bleach from Amway
Amway bleach, like other laundry products sold by this company, is presented in the specialized SA8 line. The manufacturer claims that the products included in this series are known for their powerful cleaning power. We will find out whether this is actually true from the reviews of real customers presented in our article.
“Amway” is a powder-type bleach, one of the components of which, when interacting with water, forms oxygen molecules that help remove stains from fabric.
Any other oxygen bleach works in the same way. But Amway has some advantages over it. Firstly, Amway bleach is universal. It enhances the effect of ordinary powder, while maintaining the brightness of the colors of colored fabrics. Secondly, it acts as a universal detergent that can be used not only for washing and soaking things, but also for cleaning the house.
Properties of bleach
Amway bleach is a universal product that several times enhances the effect of the main powder and effectively removes stains during the soaking process. It has the following unique properties:
- safe for cleaning not only white, but also colored fabrics, since it uses oxygen rather than chlorine bleach;
- effectively cleans fabrics at temperatures from 20 to 90 degrees;
- Ideally removes stains by pre-soaking;
- 99% of the substances that are in its composition are active, which makes this concentrated product very economical;
- removes tea and coffee stains from dishes, making it a multifunctional cleanser;
- safe for the body and the environment.

- Do not use on aluminum or copper products.
- The company recommends that during prolonged contact with this product and those with very sensitive hands, wear rubber gloves. (I personally have never heard of such measures from my friends).
Composition of universal whitening "Amway"
The composition of the universal bleach is as safe as possible for fabrics and does not cause allergic reactions on human skin. More than 30% of its composition belongs to sodium percarbonate, a bleaching agent based on active oxygen. When combined with water, it forms oxygen molecules, thanks to which the most persistent stains are removed from the fabric. The universal product contains a fragrance.
Amway bleach does not contain phosphates, chlorine or dyes. It is environmentally friendly and biodegradable. The composition of the universal product contains a non-ionic surfactant, but its amount is no more than 5%.

I don’t know about safety, but my little one is allergic, just like with regular powders. As for dishwashing detergent - it’s some kind of garbage, it doesn’t wash off grease from dishes at all

The composition of the washing powder is almost the same as the others, but the smell of figs can be rinsed out.
And other products were made from the same chemistry, where does the additional safety come from?

Amway is crap, grossly overrated, aggressively promoted by illiterate marketers.

I wasn't impressed with Amway's washing powder either. I didn't buy any more. I only use the washing machine jar. But among their products, I really like the multifunctional detergent (for the kitchen, I think) Loc, which is green (I threw away the bottle, it got stuck in the sprayer). I will definitely buy more and more. Very convenient: spray, wipe. Does not require rinsing, removes almost all types of dirt, smells very nice. And I also love Loc cleaning product for daily shower care. The smell is amazing, easy to use - I sprayed it on wet tiles after a shower, left and forgot (does not require rinsing). The bathroom sparkles clean and smells fragrant. I also really like their “iron” sponge (or whatever it is called) for washing dishes. Realistically, it lasts for a year! At the same time, it does not scratch any surfaces. Super-super!. I buy regularly. All products are very economical. The rest of Amwey didn't make much of an impression, even their vaunted toothpaste.

Advantages:
economical to use, gentle composition, moderate odor
Flaws:
Doesn't remove tough stains, dear, white laundry turns yellow
Good day, readers!
This washing powder came to us thanks to my mother’s pliability; persuading her to buy something was a piece of cake, despite her strictness and skepticism. I don’t know, maybe it’s necessary to wash with this powder in some special way, perhaps it’s an environmentally friendly product, but I think that it should, first of all, wash, and it’s good if it costs so much. After the first wash it left stains. Well, okay, I think maybe we need to pre-soak it.
I washed it again and nothing really changed. I thought it would refresh white linen, without stains. I washed it - the laundry became gray, no whiteness, even yellowed. Didn't understand. Then I used it with pre-soaking, adding soda to soften the water, which is a little hard for us. Well, no, I didn’t see the super properties of this powder. Powder is like powder, but it washes worse. Of course, it doesn’t damage the skin of my hands, I didn’t have any irritation or rashes on my skin, it’s not thermonuclear, it has a pleasant smell. Why do I need it if it doesn’t remove basic stains?
It sits idle and is not popular in our family.
But there are other cosmetics that are quite good, and I don’t mean all the Amway products. I need to try, but so far I don’t feel much enthusiasm.

I just didn’t like the powder from this company, but everything else, toothpaste, cleaning product, dishwashing liquid, I’m just delighted with them.

Advantages:
Did not find
Flaws:
Poor packaging, does not wash
As the consultant told me, these are his words: The powder is very good. Once you soak your laundry in it, it instantly becomes snow-white, this is especially important when there are kids in the house, it lasts for a long time. But in reality, alas, this is not the case, the powder only dissolves in water and that’s it, then to keep everything clean, you need to soak it, then rub it, and only then wash it in the washing machine. When there are kids in the house, you wash every day, and with such washes where you need to soak, then rub, I think more than one mother (I mean today’s mothers who grew up in modern technologies) will not want to waste such precious time on such a hassle. Having tested it on brilliant green, I saw the result - the brilliant green dissolved in the water, but it was only brilliant green. Sweets and grass, and when it’s masyunya, the juices and purees, alas, don’t wash off. So, having bought this powder, I just threw away money, and now it’s lying around in my bathroom unnecessarily.

Advantages:
Odorless, hypoallergenic
Flaws:
Leaves stains, laundry does not wash
They say it does not contain phosphates, which is hard to believe. The composition of the powder is exactly the same as that of a regular one from a supermarket, although the measuring spoon is small, indicating that it really is concentrated. It washes poorly, leaving stains, although colored fabrics retain their color. It has practically no smell.

I have one friend in St. Petersburg. Everything would be fine, but I’m obsessed with this Amway. Since I’m writing a review about this powder, I’ll tell you exactly about it. I came to see him one day; I needed to wash some things. He is also obsessed with this company, like other similar sectarians, he had this washing powder. Well, I poured water, poured in a little powder, as my friend said - like it’s economical, you only need a little bit of it. Doesn't foam. She shook the water. Doesn't foam. I added a little more. Doesn't foam. A little more, well, it seemed to work. The result was the usual dose of powder. I washed the things, but I didn’t notice that it was any better. I can’t write the ingredients now, but I remember exactly what I read, it’s not particularly environmentally friendly, these sectarians are deceiving. And as I asked a friend, how much this miracle product costs, it’s terrible... I’d rather throw things away after each wear than spend money on such a powder. And then he started telling me how they go to these meetings there, that they really teach you how to earn money, but until he gets rich, it turns out that basically they encourage these consultants there to be more self-consumption, my friend has a whole house in these products, how much money did they swindle the poor man out of him... He wanted to get me used to this business, he began to talk about the benefits of these products, convinced that their price does not increase due to the fact that the buyer, i.e. We buy directly from the company, and not through several resellers. But why then are these goods more expensive than all of them? People, don't fall for this nonsense!!!!

When we were “invited” to Amway and made a presentation, telling us what good environmental products this company has, my wife and I were excited, and I decided to sign up. Having subscribed, I entered for 200 points, that is, I paid about 2000 hryvnia for that time. We also bought their vaunted powder. We were immediately told: the powder may not wash well right away if you have previously used “ordinary” “bad” “phosphate” powders. In order for it to wash well, you need to spin the machine 3-4 times with a new good phosphate-free Amway powder, with some kind of rag that you don’t mind. That's what we did. I washed a bunch of colored shirts, T-shirts, socks and so on. Not even 3-4 times, but 4-5 times. Finally, we decided that the machine had washed off the bad powders, and it was white’s turn. We loaded a few sheets and waited for the results. The result was disastrous: before washing, the laundry was dirty, but white. After washing it became unclear what, but gray. Let's do the laundry again. The effect is the same. We washed the clothes a third time - still gray. We call the sponsors: what to do, the underwear is gray. Sponsors immediately begin to put pressure on us morally and mentally: “We told you that first you need to spin unnecessary rags with the new powder 3-4 times, but you didn’t do this, you were in a hurry, that’s why your underwear is gray!” We answer - how? Yes, we did as you taught! And still, even after three washes, the laundry is gray! Sponsors say - try washing it again, it should be white. My wife pouts at me and says, “I knew the powder was bullshit.” I say - well, let's wash it again. We washed it again - the linen was gray and remained gray. It even became even more grey. But it doesn't smell. Which is true, it's true. A week later we wash whites again, another linen, and all week I also washed some small things. Again the linen turned gray. Again we call the sponsors - what is it, why is the underwear gray? And what do the sponsors say??? And the sponsors again have their way: your machine, they say, is dirty with bad phosphate powder, you need to run the machine 3-4 times with the new Amway phosphate-free powder with an unnecessary rag. And then everything will be Okay. I already hate this word - Okay! We tell them again that we have been washing with the new Amway powder for a whole week, and the machine should have been cleaned of bad “Ariel” and bad “Tide” long ago. And then the sponsors used the time-tested: -Oh! Then they call us on the second phone! Call back later!!! And when, a week after washing, the laundry was gray again, we again heard the same tale that we first had to run the machine 3-4 times with new powder. Then more options began: my sponsor husband reproached us that we were putting in too little Amway powder, and that we needed to put in a little more - then everything would be washed off and the linen would be white. But the sponsor’s wife said on the contrary that we were putting in too much powder, but this is the highest quality imported powder, and you need to put in just a little bit of it, and then the boule will wash off and be whiter than white. Then they started saying that we don’t add bleach to the powder, how can laundry be white without bleach? And so on. In the end, I took the cardboard packaging of the powder and began to read its composition and method of use. The composition surprised me: in the first place is sodium carbonate! That is, ordinary soda ash, which our mothers and grandmothers used to do laundry in the 60s and 70s. That's why the underwear is gray - because of SODA!!! I remember well that back then the underwear from soda also became as gray as ours from Amway powder, and to make it more attractive, people then used blue - they turned their underwear blue. The powder did not contain phosphates, they were not deceived here, but it did contain phosphonates. Phosphonates are really not phosphates, although as for me they are the same thing as phosphates and phosphonates. When I added up all the percentage numbers, it turned out not 100%, but only about 80%. The remaining missing 20%, apparently, is the same soda ash, also known as sodium carbonate, also known as sodium bicarbonate. But, excuse me, soda costs 5 UAH per 1 kg, and the powder is sold to us for 100 UAH per 1 kg. Is optical brightener really that expensive? Or citric acid??? In short, after that we bought ordinary phosphate-containing powder and began to put it in the machine using an Amway measuring spoon. Amway's measuring spoon is really great!!! And the linen became white again! And if you throw in a little regular powder, then after washing the clothes also don’t smell like chemicals!
Amway bleach: how to use when washing and soaking
To achieve maximum effect when removing stains when washing clothes, it is recommended to follow the instructions.
When machine washing, Amway universal bleach is added directly to the main washing powder in an amount of 10 ml. And although the packaging of the product indicates that it begins to work at a temperature of 20 degrees, the optimal mode is considered to be 60 degrees and above. Thus, to wash things, you need to load them into the drum, then pour the main and universal powder into the appropriate compartment, set the appropriate temperature mode and start the washing machine.
Amway bleach is also used for soaking. The instructions suggest that you need to add 5 ml of universal detergent to 2 liters of hot water, leave the items in it for half an hour, and then wash them as usual. The result will be equally positive in both cases.
How to use Percarbonate?
Machine washable. As a component that improves the quality of washing and bleaching. Pour 1-3 tablespoons of percarbonate, depending on the amount of laundry and the degree of soiling of the items, into the main wash compartment along with the washing powder. The water temperature must be at least 45°C.

Multifunctional capabilities of Amway whitener
All-purpose bleach can be used not only for washing and soaking clothes, but also for removing stains from dishes, ceramic tiles, sinks or countertops. As a result, even a heavily soiled surface will shine clean after treatment.
To remove dirt from a cup or kettle, it is recommended to pour 5 ml of bleach into it and fill it with hot water. Leave the dishes like this for at least 1 hour, then remove any remaining dirt using a soft sponge. After this, the kettle or cup should be rinsed under running water and subsequently used for its intended purpose.
To remove dirt from various surfaces, Amway bleach is poured in a small amount, for example, onto a tabletop, and then wiped with a damp sponge. At the end of cleaning, it is enough to remove any remaining product with a clean cloth.
Amway bleach: how to remove stains - detailed instructions
We constantly face the problem of stains in this life. True, the stains are greasy and coloring. And I personally don’t know of a product that would remove all categories of stains in one fell swoop. In this article I tell and show how to remove a dye stain, namely a red wine stain and green paint stain from a white shirt.
A few words at the beginning of the article about the product we will use to remove wine stains. Produced by Amway. Included in the category “Laundry detergents and washing powders”. Volume 1 kg. Used as an additional product to washing powder - it enhances washing due to oxygen bleach. Effectively removes stains from various fabrics.
Instructions
- Determine at what temperature of water the item with the stain is washed.
- If the item is colored, then find out whether it loses color when washed.
- Follow the instructions on the fabric label.
- Only after checking the fabric according to the first 3 points do we begin to remove the stain.
- Wet the stain with water - the hotter the better.
- Sprinkle bleach onto the stain.
- Use mechanical movements to rub the stain, or leave it for a while.
- If the stain still remains, repeat the process until it disappears completely.
Attention:
The bleach must be in constant contact with the water. Therefore, if the process takes a long time, make sure that the stain is wet. Wet it periodically and the bleach will work.
The first time I saw an experiment with green stuff. There are two glasses of hot water on the table. A few drops of greenery are dripped into each glass. Then a teaspoon of bleach from a regular store is poured into one glass, and oxygen bleach from Amway into the second. What's happening is impressive. In one glass the water becomes clear, but in the second it remains green.
Later, actively conducting presentations for various people, he helped them solve one or another problem with color stains. I removed wine stains from an upholstered chair, cleaned the upholstered seats of the kitchen corner, removed the green stuff from the table, etc. Here is one of the stories...
Bleach Amway: reviews | The story of a rescued blouse
My friend, knowing that I deal with detergents and cleaning products, asked me to remove stains on my blouse. She had a white blouse with two tassels that were red. And when washing, these brushes caused two red spots to appear on my white blouse. The girl was unable to remove these stains and turned to me.
I took the blouse home. Then I did everything as in the video - I wet the stains with water and applied oxygen bleach. So, I repeated it several times. The spots became smaller and paler until they disappeared completely. He brought the girl a blouse, like new. After that, she became the happy owner of this wonderful remedy.
