How to sew a bra in volume
Any girl will confirm: seeing the bra of your dreams in a lingerie store that fits like a glove is a rare stroke of luck.
It happens much more often that the cup or volume is not the right size. This dissonance is caused primarily by the physiological characteristics of the structure of the female body. “Rubensian women” may well have small breasts, and inches 70 C. Try to find something in a lingerie store that matches this request. In this case, sellers advise choosing a bust according to the cup, and adjusting the volume at home yourself or taking it to a studio to have it reduced/increased. The advice is correct. Sometimes this is really the only option to become the owner of “your” bra. We will tell you how to sew a full-length bra with your own hands.
Blended fabrics
If any synthetic material is added to the composition of a cotton T-shirt, then the procedure for changing its size will change while maintaining the first stages.
You can add boiling or steaming to washing in a washing machine, which exceeds 100 °C. A double boiler will increase the maximum possible temperature to 220 °C. The last steps must be carried out with caution and as a last resort, as there is a risk that this will completely damage the product. You should use a mesh bag to protect your clothes in a top loading machine. For mixed fabrics, you need to choose a delicate wash with a short duration. Most washing machines have a low temperature setting, which is ideal in this case. Increased temperature can compress the tension of the threads, causing them to move closer to each other and the size of the item to decrease.
When washing, use a mild powder and avoid using chlorine bleach as it can damage the material. After washing, the product should be wrapped in a towel for several minutes and do not wring out. This will remove excess water from it and not damage the fabric structure.
Clothes should be air dried. An almost dried item can be placed in the dryer. Five minutes is enough to complete the shrinkage. Cold drying should be used at this stage. Once the product has been reduced to the desired size, it can be removed from the machine and used.
Another radical method of washing clothes to make them shrink is suitable for items made of cotton, linen and other fabrics, except synthetics and silk. It consists of alternating hot and cold water, into which the item is alternately immersed. To do this you need:
How should a bra fit?
How to choose the right bra shape and not make a mistake with the size? The answer is quite simple. Do this visually, focusing on the sensations of your body. A good bust fits perfectly, holds the chest tightly, does not press anywhere, does not rub, does not dangle. The main thing is that it does not cause any discomfort or pain.
What should you pay attention to in the fitting room so as not to make a mistake when making a purchase? Consider several parameters at once.
- Straps . Ideally, they do not fall off or put pressure. If you pull the strap off your shoulder and the cup stays in place and continues to hold your breasts, everything is fine . If the cup slips along with the strap, change the size to a smaller one.
- We raised our arms, and the chest remained down, and the bust rose along with the arms - we reduce the volume.
- If the belt of a fastened bra is pulled to the side by more than 4 cm, change the volume to a smaller one.
- If your breasts visually stick out unattractively from the top or sides of the cup, and feel like they are being squeezed (customers often say that their breasts are tight), change the cup size to a larger one .
By following these simple rules, you can quickly figure out the size and choose the desired shape.
Important! Busts of the same size, but different shapes, fit completely differently on the body. Start your fitting by choosing a shape.
What not to do when washing knitted items to shrink them
You should not try to reduce an item by several sizes at once, choosing a washing temperature more than 20° higher than recommended - this will more likely lead to damage to the item than to the desired result.
It is also undesirable to select the spin mode with maximum speed - the yarn may bunch unevenly. The optimal choice would be the 400 rpm mode (unless otherwise stated in the washing instructions) for delicate handling of the item.
You cannot dry knitted items on a radiator, thus wanting to speed up the drying process, or iron still wet clothes - this can deform the structure of the yarn and ruin the item.
Do not dry knitted items on a radiator, as this may deform the structure of the yarn.
Ways to reduce bra volume
What to do if the cup fits perfectly and the volume is large? At the same time, the bust generally fits the shape, is incredibly beautiful, and do you really want to buy it? The answer is - we take it! And we take it to the nearest clothing repair shop.
If you have the time and desire to tinker at home yourself, reducing the volume is also possible. Experienced seamstresses advise doing this.
- Put on your bra and, without fastening it, move the edges of the belt behind each other until it fits snugly enough. The main thing is not to overdo it. It would be even better to secure the new volume with a pin and walk like this for a few minutes.
- If the belt does not cut into or put pressure anywhere, we leave it; if it cuts in or, conversely, when moving, it moves or dangles again, we correct it.
- After measurements and corrections, we cut off the excess length of the fastener and sew the fasten back .
- The second way is to cut off the excess on the sides, near the cup, or a little at the clasp, a little on the sides .
Important Notes
If you want to reduce your clothing size, remember a few simple tips:
- Determine the composition of the fabric. The choice of processing method and the effect depend on this. If you don’t figure out this nuance, you will ruin the thing or not achieve any improvement.
- Synthetic materials do not stretch! If you don’t know how to wash a dress so that it shrinks, and it contains only synthetics, then nothing will work.
- You use all methods at your own risk. Nowadays, there are many products on sale made from low-quality materials, which can shrink by half at high temperatures. But if the thing is of good quality, then a suitable technique will help bring it into shape.
- If after washing the fabric shrinks against your will, try wearing it or washing it again. This effect is normal for natural materials and some products may shrink by 5% after the first wash.

How to prevent straps from showing under a dress with a T-shirt neckline?
We pin them together behind the back near the shoulder blades, with a paper clip or tie them with a thin rope.
Do the straps of your new bra mercilessly rub your shoulders during the day?
A panty liner will come in handy. Remove the protective layer and carefully wrap the strap with the gasket.
For washing we use only a special mesh. Dry the bra horizontally on a towel. When storing, do not put one cup into another. When we travel, we use special cases for bras.

How to return a jacket to its original size
Before work, carefully study the tag, which can tell you what material the item is made of.
Some methods for restoring the original size are universal, while others are suitable for a specific type of fabric.
Therefore, it is necessary to carefully approach this issue so as not to further harm the knitted product.
How to stretch a wool sweater in length and width
For items made of wool, the following several methods for returning to size are ideal.
First way
- Fill a basin with warm water and soak the shrunken woolen jacket in it for half an hour.
- After that, take it out and gently squeeze it out with your hands.
- Try not to twist to avoid distorting the fibers of the fabric.
- It is also undesirable for liquid to drain from clothing along one edge. Therefore, it is better to carefully lay out the knitted sweater in the bathroom on a wire rack, if there is one.
- Otherwise, roll it up, wrap it with a piece of gauze and hang it to dry for half an hour.
After this procedure, the product should increase significantly in length and width.
It is strictly forbidden to transfer things from hot to cold water. A sharp temperature change has a detrimental effect on their size and shape.
Second way
prepare a special solution
Instead of boric acid, you can use regular 5% table vinegar in a proportion of 5 tbsp. l. per liter of water.
How to stretch sweaters knitted from other fibers
In addition to wool, there are also several “problem” types of fabric, which include cotton, synthetics and knitwear.
Let's look at methods that are ideal for these materials.
Cotton products
A cotton sweater that has shrunk is “reanimated” using the following method.
- In 5 liters of warm water, mix ammonia, vodka and turpentine in a ratio of 3: 1: 1.
- Cotton clothes are placed in this solution for 20-30 minutes, then lightly wrung out and left to dry naturally.
- At the same time, it is periodically stretched in the desired direction.
It happens that the sleeves stubbornly refuse to return to their original position, despite the fact that the rest of the part has already returned to its shape. Then it’s worth repeating the procedure again, but now soaking and stretching only the sleeves themselves.
How to stretch a knitted sweater
A good result for working with knitwear products is achieved by using hair conditioner.
- Apply it to the jacket and soak well.
- Leave it like this for 10-15 minutes, and then try to stretch the jacket in the desired direction. The fibers of the fabric in combination with the hair product become very elastic, which helps to return to its original shape.
- Instead of conditioner, you can use baby shampoo or a simple soap solution.
Method of stretching a synthetic jacket
- After soaking in a warm mixture, the wet item should be laid out on a large terry towel.
- Then you need to roll everything together and leave for 10 - 15 minutes. This will help absorb excess liquid, but the jacket will be damp.
- After such drying, you need to put the item on the ironing board and thoroughly steam it with a hot iron, stretching it to the desired length or width.
- Upon completion of ironing, you must lay the jacket on another terry towel in a horizontal position and leave it until completely dry. Try to avoid exposure to sunlight during this procedure.
How to sew a bra according to a pattern from a magazine
Today, according to statistics, a huge number of women wear underwear that does not suit them either in quality or style. And very often - in size, so often the decision to sew in a bra becomes very reasonable. Especially when it comes to ladies with non-standard shapes. For example, it may be necessary to have a bra sutured for those who have one breast that is slightly smaller than the other. Or it differs in shape, asymmetry can happen.
Sewing up underwear can be a good solution for those ladies who have purchased expensive and fashionable models for a season or two, there is no way to change them, it’s a pity to throw them away, but the kilos have been lost. The fair sex can suddenly lose weight due to a strong disorder, the body’s reaction to acclimatization. The latter is quite likely even on vacation. From time to time, this is how the body reacts to unusual food or a new composition of drinking water. And losing kilos can lead to the need to sew in a bra, as well as any other underwear that suits you in terms of quality, color, overall wardrobe style and a number of other parameters. There is absolutely no need to do the suturing yourself. If you don’t have the necessary skills or (and) experience, then it’s better not to experiment with expensive underwear, but, say, put it in the hands of professionals. For them, sewing a bra in such a way as not to spoil the model and giving the desired proportions is not difficult. This opportunity is especially often used by women with a frankly non-standard figure. For example, with a very thin waist, a fragile chest and surprisingly large breasts. A striking example, so to speak. Or the breasts may simply be of a non-standard shape.
Synthetic materials
It is most difficult to give synthetic products the desired shape by reducing the size. They practically do not shrink. But just because a garment is made from polyester, nylon or acrylic doesn't mean it's completely impossible to make it smaller:
- After studying the tag, you need to add 10-20 °C to the washing temperature. Adding rinse aid will not only be useless, but will also interfere with achieving the desired result - it prevents the fibers of synthetic fabrics from tightening.
- Contrasting temperatures can cause things to shrink by 1-1.5 sizes. After washing in hot water, the item should be placed in ice water for 1-2 hours. The result may exceed expectations - the owner will have in his hands an item of the size he needs.

From time to time, ladies need to sew up their underwear after childbirth. Your figure is changing, but you want to show off in beautiful and elegant lingerie. Meanwhile, it is not always possible to completely find “your” format. Yes, breasts in this condition may increase in size from time to time, but this is not at all necessary. Periodically, on the contrary - after feeding, it seems to fall off. And then it becomes logical to sew in a bra. It is clear that nothing can be done with the cups; we are talking about support strips under the breasts, about the part of the bra that is located on the back. It is best to do this along the seam line. Then changing bra sizes will be more natural. And it won’t be so noticeable that something has changed. However, you can process the new seams so that all the changes seem logical. For example, make a minimal decorative lace insert.
Is it always possible to correct the situation if the thing is stretched out?
It is not always possible to return a stretched item to its original state:
- It is unlikely that an acrylic pullover can be restored; this material is prone to stretching.
- Synthetic fibers shrink much less than natural fabrics. For example, polyester does not shrink. And if synthetic fiber is introduced into the composition of natural fabric, even in a minimal amount, then this immediately affects its properties: the degree of shrinkage will decrease.
- Woolen items undergo significant changes as a result of washing: they can stretch in whole or in part. For example, out of the entire item, only one sleeve may be deformed. Most often this is a consequence of improper tailoring of the product.
- Clothing made from a mixed composition of wool blend threads will behave depending on the composition. For example, the combination of wool and acrylic does not shrink.
- Linen gives a high degree of shrinkage, this property is especially aggravated under the influence of high temperatures.
- Products containing 100% cotton always shrink after washing and can shrink by 1-2 sizes.
- Jacquard can contain different fibers: natural and synthetic. To understand the amount of shrinkage of such fabric, you need to carefully study its composition. If cotton or linen is present, it means that the jacquard item may shrink after washing.
- An item containing viscose may become smaller in size after washing.
The procedure for sewing up the volume of bras and swimsuits
Often girls have to face a situation where they have found the underwear of their dreams, but the bra does not fit at all. This arises due to the physiology of the structure of the female figure. Even girls with curvy figures can have a small breast size, and vice versa, slender, thin women have a third size. Don't give up on the model you like. There are ways to sew a full size bra at home yourself.
How should a bra fit?
When purchasing, it is important to choose the right shape and not make a mistake in size. It is best to do this based on your feelings. A good bra should hold your breasts tightly. It should not press, rub or fall off anywhere. If there is no discomfort or pain, then it is the right size.
Correct bra shape
When trying on, you need to consider several parameters that will help you make the right choice:
- The straps should not fall off or put pressure. You should try to lower one strap from your shoulder, but at the same time the cup should remain in place and the chest should not fall out. If the cup has moved along with the strap, then this indicates that you need to choose a bra size smaller.
- If your breasts feel tight, they stick out on the sides or on top, then you need to change the cup size to a larger one.
- You need to raise your arms up, the bra should remain exactly on your chest. If it rises behind your hands, less volume is required.
- It is also necessary to reduce the volume if the fastened belt is pulled back by more than 4 cm.
These simple rules will help you quickly determine the size and choose the desired shape.
Important! Before trying on, you need to start choosing from the shape. Same size, but different shapes will fit completely differently on the body.
Experts recommend conducting a simple test, which will also help in choosing the right comfortable underwear. The step test includes several aspects:
- You need to bend over and make a figure eight with your chest several times. If the breast falls out of the cup, then the volume is selected small.
- It is recommended to check for the correct pit size. To do this you need to take a soft pencil. Suitable for both eyes and lips. Next, you need to bend down without a bra and outline your chest. This way you will be able to visually highlight the volume, semi-arches that will resemble the bones on a bra. If the drawn bones differ from the real ones, the size is chosen incorrectly. When placing a bone on the breast, a woman will experience pain and discomfort.
- Experts recommend analyzing how many times a day your underwear reminds you of itself. How often does the strap fall off? If you don’t think about your bra even once in the morning, then it’s perfect.

The secret to the perfect fit of the dress on the figure in any dance pose is the inner leotard, which secures the dress from the shoulders to the hips. A good cut of a swimsuit is half the success in your work!
No matter how the fashion for a dance costume changes, two requirements for a dress always remain the same - a good fit and compliance with the rules. Have you noticed how exactly the dress matches the partner’s figure, how its fit practically does not change during the dance? This is precisely the main secret and the main difference between a dance costume and an evening dress from the point of view of the cutter. The answer is simple - the dress is based on a leotard, an ordinary gymnastic leotard with long sleeves. The swimsuit is made of stretch materials and solves the practical problem of stretching a dress on the figure. A dress without a leotard, even one made of stretch fabric, will inevitably rise up the hips and twist on the figure during the dance. The inner leotard forcibly fixes the dress in the area from the shoulders to the hips and guarantees the aesthetic appeal of the dance in any position of the partner. If you've designed a swimsuit with a good fit, consider that a quality foundation for your dress has already been laid.
Despite the apparent simplicity of cutting a swimsuit, any experienced cutter will tell you that it is both simple and difficult at the same time. Simply because stretch is a plastic material that will stretch over your figure, even if it is a little larger. It’s difficult because the closer the product is to the body, the more it must take into account the features of the figure, and in this case, also the features of movements. For example, when dancing, a partner arches her back greatly, which means that unwanted wrinkles and folds of fabric will inevitably appear in the waist area.
Igor Yarovenko, a well-known master in this field, shares his experience in cutting swimsuits.
Igor Yarovenko, master, Bishkek:
“I want to say right away that I consider myself a specialist in swimsuits and lingerie, and dance dresses are one-time orders.
I have my own specific view on swimsuits; I can’t imagine how you can buy a swimsuit in a store, much less order it from a catalogue. I work according to a simplified scheme of “fitting swimsuits”, this is when there are ready-made models with standard patterns, to which adjustments are already made. In my experience, only one out of 30 to 40 clients has a fitting swimsuit that fits properly, and there is no need to make adjustments to the size when sewing. My basic swimsuits come in sizes ranging from 42 to 60 and plus children's sizes. Example. For the last competition “Supermodel of Russia 2004″ (as well as for other competitions) I sewed swimsuits. So, despite the apparent similarity of the contestants in their figures, we have to sew swimsuits that are different in size, length, and hip circumference. Moreover, for 25 contestants - 30 swimsuits (with a reserve). Because two models of the same height can wear the same coat, but almost never a swimsuit!”
Photo. The leotard should fit your figure and feel like a second skin while dancing!
Here we will not dwell on the theoretical construction of a swimsuit pattern, but will consider how, in practice, different masters solve the issue of obtaining a pattern and fit on the figure. There is no single correct way to solve this, so any method you come up with that gives the desired result will be correct. We hope that the creative experience of other masters, summarized below, will convince you of this and will be useful in your work.
So, the main options for obtaining a swimsuit pattern:
- Construction of a bodysuit pattern according to Muller (see “Atelier”, 6/2004);
- Alteration of ready-made patterns of knitted and tight-fitting models from magazines;
- Copying patterns from ready-made bodysuits and swimsuits available for sale by cutting them into cut pieces;
- Constructing a pattern according to the principles of a regular basic dress pattern with “minus” allowances for freedom (most often, about 4 cm per half girth);
- Construction of swimsuit patterns based on personal experience. Often, with a lot of experience, a master can literally draw an individual pattern “by eye.”
With any of the methods, in 98% of cases the result will be patterns that will require modification on the figure.
Even if you use used patterns, when cutting them from fabric with a different stretch coefficient, you will still need to correct the cut during fitting. Many masters, knowing this from their own experience, try to make a special cut “with excess” in order to leave themselves room to correct the style and improve the fit of the swimsuit during fitting. Irina Tarakanova, cutter at the Prima-Esta Model House: “Basically, this work is a mannequin fitting room, because, although we have a lot of experience and the patterns are almost perfect, we all work part-time for the client. Most often, changes concern volumes, and then everything unnecessary is pinned down. Let me explain why you have to do this. The subjective feelings of the client himself are very important here. Some people like it to be freer. Some people have such sensitive skin that they perceive puffing as an inconvenience. Those. It happens that we see that the tension is good, but the client feels it as uncomfortable. It also happens that along the way you have to adjust the style itself. And for this it’s good to have a supply of fabric.”
Ways to reduce bra volume
If the cup fits perfectly, but the volume is large, you should not refuse the purchase. There are ways to reduce it yourself.
Experienced seamstresses give a master class on how to sew linen with your own hands at home:
- You need to put on the bra without fastening it, overlap the edges of the belt until it sits tightly on your chest. It is recommended to attach the new volume with a pin, then walk around like this for a while to evaluate the convenience.
- If during wearing the belt does not cut in or press anywhere, then the size is chosen correctly. The girth will also need to be adjusted if the underwear dangles when moving.
- After making the final adjustments, you can cut off the excess length at the fastener. The fastener will need to be sewn back after cutting.
The required number of centimeters can be cut off both at the clasp and on the sides, at the cup.
There are some tips to help women solve problems with uncomfortable underwear:
- You can purchase special volume reducers.
- To prevent straps from being visible from under a dress or blouse with a deep neckline, they are folded behind the back near the shoulder blades and secured with a thin rope.
- If the straps chafe a lot during the day, you can use a simple panty liner. The protective layer is not removed, then the strap is wrapped with a gasket.
To ensure that the bra does not lose its shape for a long time, you need to use special nets for washing. It is also important to dry your underwear correctly; they should lie horizontally on a towel. During storage, do not place one cup inside another.
Correct volume determination
Wool clothing
Whether a wool sweater was initially baggy due to the wrong size, or whether the sleeves and edges have stretched out over time, it can all be corrected. You can make your clothes shrink by performing a few simple manipulations with them:
- Wash woolen items in hot water at a maximum temperature of 20 °C higher than the recommended temperature. Baby laundry detergent is best used as a laundry detergent. It will help maintain the structure of the fibers. The spin speed should not be more than 500-600 rpm.
- After washing, the product should be rinsed in water at a temperature of 40 °C mixed with a capful of fabric softener.
- Then rinse it again in water at a temperature of 50 °C, but without additives.
- For woolen products, contrast rinsing is also relevant, in which immersion in hot water can be alternated with soaking in ice water.
Washed wool items should be placed in the dryer. It needs to be turned on at medium power and left to work until the clothes are dry.
Reduction in cups
Sewing a bra will be a salvation for those women who purchased an expensive model for several seasons, but suddenly lost weight. However, it is not possible to purchase the same new one in a smaller size. Women very often face the need to change the volume after childbirth. The figure changes and remains that way throughout the entire period of breastfeeding. But not everyone can deny themselves good underwear.
Methods for sewing a bra
Step-by-step instructions on how to sew a bra to the desired volume consist of the following steps:
- If the bra does not fit in volume, you need to mark the straps for the volume that is needed. Marks are made on both the right and left sides. It is in these places that suturing will need to be done. In order not to break the symmetry relative to the middle of the back, you need to make marks at the same distance relative to each other.
- Remove excess elastic using a simple seam. The elastic in the middle of the seam is completely cut off to avoid thickening. You need to remove it as carefully as possible so as not to spoil the fabric on the front side.
- You need to sew the folded part in two lines. One is done from the front side, the other from the back. This method gives a visual appearance of the bone.
Cotton products
If cotton clothing needs to be reduced in size, it should be machine washed in hot water. After adjusting the temperature on the washing machine, you need to set the temperature to more than 40 °C. If shrinkage by one or two sizes is required, the temperature should be set to the highest.
Cotton fabric stretches and contracts during the manufacturing process. When it heats up, the tension in the filament decreases, causing it to shorten. Heating can successfully shrink almost anything. You need to use the longest wash cycle. High temperature along with water and cycling will be very effective. This process releases tension in cotton threads, as well as some polyester threads, changing the shape of the product. The longer the process continues, the more likely it is that the item will shrink in size through washing.
Immediately after finishing washing, the item must be removed from the machine. Avoid air drying as this will expose the cotton fabric to cold air and make it less likely to shrink.
To significantly shrink the item, you can put it in boiling water and hold it there for 10-20 minutes. The duration of the procedure promotes greater shrinkage. After boiling, the product must be rinsed in cold water.

2. Sew on the button
to a T-shirt or top so that the straps do not peek out and do not fall off the shoulders.
3. Sew the front of an inexpensive bra to the backless dress. Try to sew so that the seams are not visible on the front of the dress, and use pins to ensure that the bra is sewn straight.
4. To prevent your strapless bra from falling or falling down, secure it with a strap.
5. Store your bras on one hanger
, which will help save space and they will not lose their shape.
6. You can make your own bra organizer using hangers
, hooks and pliers.
You will need some wooden hangers with a notch for the straps, hook screws or hooks, and pliers.
· Screw the hooks to the center or joint of the wooden hanger.
· Use pliers to close the hook.
· Do the same with the remaining hangers, except for the last one.
· Hang one hanger on top of another and you're done!
How to make it fit the product in a specific place?
Getting something to shrink in the right place is a very difficult task, and with an unguaranteed result.
If the material can be processed with steam, then the following method is suitable:
- Water is poured into an iron with a steam generator.
- Set to maximum heat.
- When ironing, a jet of steam is directed to the place that requires shrinkage.
You can try to place the item in the right place using a hairdryer:
- wash the item or just wet it;
- spread on a horizontal surface;
- set the air regulator to hot air;
- directing a stream of heated air to the part of the item that requires shrinkage, try to gather it with your hands.
By exposing the entire thing to high or, conversely, low temperatures, you cannot be sure that the product will take the shape that is planned.
Backless bra
7. If you wear backless dresses, you can alter your bra so that it is hidden.
· Clasp from an old bra
Cut the clasps off the old bra, leaving enough room to sew on the elastic band.
Sew one clasp to one end of the elastic band, fasten it to one end of your bra and wrap it around your waist to measure the length you need.
Cut the elastic band or elastic band to the desired length and sew another fastener to the end. Fasten it to the other end of the bra.

Leotard for rhythmic gymnastics “Avatar”
A leotard with open hips or how to visually lengthen a gymnast’s legs.
It is no secret that long slender legs are the standard of beauty, and in rhythmic gymnastics they are especially welcomed by judges. At first glance, as soon as the athlete steps on the mat, the professional gaze of the judge is drawn to the external data of the gymnast. Then the elements, artistry, performance technique will be assessed, but first the appearance. A gymnast must be impeccable - slim; with thin, long legs; retracted knees and beautiful lifts; with a long neck and straight back. A properly tailored swimsuit for a performance can further emphasize these advantages.

If the bone has come out, try to solve this problem with
textile glue and thread and a needle.
· Thread the bone back through the hole.
· Seal the hole with fabric glue and leave to dry for a few minutes.
· Then close the area where the hole has formed using stitches (about 10 for a small hole and twice as many for a large one).
Shrinking a sweater by dry cleaning
The simplest and fastest method to get rid of this problem is to go to a dry cleaner, where there is a special service for reducing stretched wool items. Using heat treatment or washing, specialists will return the product to its original appearance and desired size in a matter of minutes. However, this method can negatively affect the softness and brightness of the item, making the item scratchy and the shade dull. Therefore, when changing the shape of a colored or colorful wool item, it is advisable to ask dry cleaning specialists to add a product to soften the fabric, and also to use a gentle method to maintain color saturation.
