A frame pool, like an inflatable one, is prone to breakdowns. Therefore, owners may be interested in the question of how to seal a frame pool at home. The quality of the repair depends on the selected patch material and leak repair technology. As a rule, to fix a problem, a standard set of tools and available adhesive materials - waterproof glue, sealant and adhesive tape - are sufficient. Sometimes you have to visit a store to buy special products - a repair kit, FlexTape adhesive tape.
How to determine a leak
At the preliminary stage, the possibility of natural evaporation is excluded. For this:
- The pool is filled with water and the water level is noted.
- Fill a bucket or basin with water, place it in the bowl and mark the level.
- After a day, the levels are compared. With the same decrease, it is a matter of natural evaporation.
If the water level changes unevenly, look for a leak. Common breach locations:
- valves;
- valves;
- pumps and filters;
- heaters.
Here are some tips on how to find a hole in a frame pool:
- Initially, check the drain valve; it blocks the flow of water from the tank. Gasket leaks are a common cause of water loss. Sometimes the gasket can become leaky towards the end of the season. Inspect the connection between the hose and the slag separator or pump. The problem is solved by sealing the threaded connections.
- Inspect surfaces for damage: cracks, chips, scratches and holes.
- In a pool flooded with water, they check with the help of small debris: the current brings it to the crack, where it remains. The hole is small and there is no way for debris to escape.
- Effectively search for dye leaks. Add it in small portions to the bowl and observe the flow of water: the dye tends to leave the reservoir through the gap.
Additionally, problems with the plumbing are eliminated:
- During the day, water levels are measured with the pump running and off.
- If there is a large water leak while the filters are running, the water supply system must be repaired. If losses are equal, look for a hole.
Does the manufacturer's brand affect tank repairs?
As an example, it is worth considering the leaders in the production of frame pools - and Bestway. These brands offer good quality products at reasonable prices. These are analogue companies with small but significant differences.
"Bestway" has a durable reinforced bottom, while "Intex" has a single-layer rubberized material. Therefore, the bottom of Intex pools is more susceptible to damage.
But the pools come with repair kits , which are convenient in case repairs are required.
The influence of the material from which the bowl is made
As a rule, in frame pools the bowl is finished with PVC film. This is a durable material with antimicrobial and antifungal effect.
If used carefully, this type of coating can last up to 30 years. PVC exhibits a high degree of adhesion to most adhesive solutions .
The exception is cyanoacrylic adhesive. Its composition produces a hard seam after drying, and during operation, cyanoacrylic begins to crack, which leads to a violation of the tightness of the product.
What is the best way to seal a hole in a frame pool?
Before sealing the BestWay frame pool, you should choose the appropriate repair option.
How can you seal a frame pool, according to the recommendations of manufacturers and specialists:
- Special adhesive tape. The quality of the final work is mediocre, the leak retention time is short. Repairing a pool at home is recommended as an emergency method.
- Repair kit. Produced by pool manufacturer Intex. The set includes: a special patch made of material identical to the material of the model, waterproof glue for frame pools and a degreasing liquid.
- Boat repair kit.
- A patch made from scrap materials. She is put on glue. The result depends on the patch material, the chosen glue and the repair technique. Sometimes it is possible to properly seal a hole in the pool.
- Set for vulcanization of car tires. Contains: patch and special glue. Carry out by specialists at the car service center. The quality of the result is excellent.
- Plumbing sealant. Suitable for small punctures. Fills holes, does not crumble over time and is not exposed to water and sun. The quality of repair is optimal for small gaps.
What kind of glue can be used to seal a swimming pool?
- "Liquid patch." PVC patch solution. Drying time – 10 minutes. The quality is excellent, allows you to patch holes smaller than 3 cm.
- Glue "Moment" for rubber. Allows you to cheaply and effectively repair a BestWay pool.
- Superglue "Vinyl cement". Eliminates leaks using the cold welding principle. High reliability of adhesion, high-quality glue for Intex frame pools.
What can't you try to repair?
But even for temporary repairs, some products are absolutely unsuitable. In particular, these are:
- an ordinary plaster or tape is not the best option for repairing a pool, the clutch only holds on the dry pool bowl, and the first time you try to install the pool bowl, the leak will make itself known again;
- fabric patches and threads are an absolutely ineffective method that will only add unnecessary punctures to the pool;
- A gasoline-powered blowtorch is too dangerous a tool for heating patches; you can easily and quickly burn the entire pool.
Preparation for repair
Preliminary activities include the following steps:
- Draining the water and drying the pool.
- The pool is located on a flat surface.
- Preparing the hole for repair: rubbing the surface with sandpaper for optimal adhesion.
- Degreasing contact surfaces with acetone, alcohol or nail polish remover.
Working with a water pool:
- Remove excess debris by wiping the tank with rags or a sponge.
- If possible, drain the water to the level of the puncture.
- Treat with sandpaper and degrease the surfaces.
Methods for preventing cuts and punctures
Of course, everyone dreams that their inflatable pool would be:
- environmentally friendly;
- durable;
- hermetic;
- reliable;
- convenient.
Before purchasing, we read the instruction manual, which describes all the nuances of using the pool. But we don’t always listen to advice. It is necessary to avoid contact of the pool surface with:
- piercing objects;
- cutting;
- sharp;
- branches and twigs;
- pens and pencils.
To do this, the pool should be located away from all branches and construction equipment on a flat sandy bed - without branches and debris. Do not give children any sharp or pointy objects (this could even be a toy like Spider-Man, Transformer) when they swim in the pool.
The pool must be filled in accordance with its parameters and instructions. If there is an excessive amount of water, defects in the form of divergence of pool seams can also occur. And the distance from the barbecue area will guarantee that a spark will not fall on your pool and render it completely unusable.
Step-by-step instructions for sealing a swimming pool without water
Common tools for working with a dry tank are a repair kit, adhesive tape, a patch made from scrap materials, sealant, PVC patch and waterproof glue. First make sure that all damage is found and the pool is dry. Carry out repairs following the manufacturer's recommendations.
Patch from the repair kit
Procedure:
- Degrease surfaces with acetone, alcohol or other suitable liquid.
- Clean the pool wall with sandpaper.
- Remove dust.
- Using scissors, cut out a patch of the desired size and shape.
- Apply glue evenly to the patch.
- Apply a patch to the hole.
- Install under the press. Waiting time - according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Adhesive tape
Using adhesive tape, you can seal the pool in the following sequence:
- Degrease the puncture site.
- Cut a piece to size.
- Press down onto the surface of the pool.
- The pool is left alone. The waiting time is according to the tape manufacturer's instructions.
Patch made from improvised means
How to properly seal the frame with a handy patch:
- Cut a patch of the required size from a material suitable for the pool (an old circle or air mattress, tarpaulin).
- Degrease surfaces.
- Glue the patch using waterproof glue.
- Place under a press for a day.
- Additionally, strengthen the edges with sealant.
Repair of the Intex pool at home
An Intex inflatable or frame pool can be repaired independently at home. For these purposes, the manufacturer provides an additional repair kit with the product itself, which allows consumers to carry out minor repairs.
How to find a leak?
In cases where the puncture is located on the wall of the bowl, it can be easily detected by water leakage from the outside. But not in all situations everything is so obvious, because sometimes the leaks are not in the bowl itself.
Various equipment works together with frame pools: pumps, filters and much more. The leak may be in one of the filter or pump hoses, as well as in the area of the threaded connections.
If nothing can be detected visually, then it is recommended to turn off all equipment for about 1-2 days and check the water level in the bowl. If it remains in the same place after a couple of days, then the leakage problem with 100% probability lies in some kind of device. To determine which one, you need to turn off the devices one by one, monitoring which one starts leaking water when turned on.
How to close a leak?
Most often, it is not the equipment that is damaged, but the material of the bowl. If a puncture site has been discovered, you must first drain all the water and dry the bowl. Next, you need to find the repair kit that usually comes with it, working according to the instructions included with it.
Repair kit includes:
- Vinyl patches in different sizes.
- Sealant (waterproof, heat-resistant).
- Vinyl glue.
If the puncture is small, barely noticeable, then to eliminate it you need to use a sealant - there is no point in gluing a patch to miniature damage. If the puncture is of significant size, then it must be sealed with vinyl patches using waterproof glue - the sealant will not be able to cope with large damage.
It is strongly recommended not to skimp and use two patches at once to seal the puncture - one is glued to the inside of the bowl, the other to the outside. The patch should be in the shape of a circle or oval, because if there are corners, the patch will peel off, because. they are affected by the processes of movement of water flows.
Using waterproof glue, you need to treat both the internal and external patches. It is important that no air bubbles form in the connection area. It’s very good if you can press the patches as tightly as possible. The gluing area should be under pressure for 12-24 hours (at least).
How to seal without draining water
Repairs may be required internally or externally. A leak from the inside can be eliminated without draining the water only with adhesive tape specially designed for such work.
Flex Tape
Work algorithm:
- Cut a piece of tape to the desired size.
- Carefully glue the tape under water to the puncture site.
- Keep the patch in the filled tank for 5 minutes.
For outside work, a repair kit for boats and a special patch for a children's pool are suitable. You can seal the leak from the outside without draining the water using sealant.
Repair kit for boats
Procedure:
- The patch from the kit is pre-sanded with sandpaper and cut to a suitable shape and size.
- Degrease work surfaces.
- Apply glue to the patch and to the puncture site.
- Press the patch tightly and hold for 15 minutes.
Repair of frame structures
The frame of the pool is a rigid metal structure, which gives it stability, strength and keeps its shape perfectly. The material of the bowl can be different: PVC film for the pool and three-layer vinyl in combination with polyester are often used. The main difference between frame pools is the absence of inflatable elements.
Home repairs of frame pools are allowed, but it is better to turn to professionals. An average-sized frame pool has a volume of approximately 6 tons. If the location of the damage is not determined accurately, then draining the water will not be justified.
Why is the water decreasing?
Before gluing the surfaces, you need to find the location of the hole. Sometimes the reason the pool water level drops is due to evaporation rather than leakage. You can check this as follows:
- Secure a container of water into the frame tank, leaving a small gap to the edge.
- Record the fluid level (inside and outside) with a marker.
- After 24 hours, compare the marks in the pool and the containers.
- Draw conclusions about the reasons for the decrease in water.
On a note! If the line in the pool is lower than the line in the bucket, a leak is to blame. If the levels coincide, then the water decreases due to evaporation.
Determining the cause of the leak
To determine the location of the puncture, it is necessary to record water level indicators for 24 hours with the pumping unit turned on and off. Then compare the results. The puncture site is in the pipeline system if the water quickly decreases with the filter in place. And if the values are the same, the source of the leak is damage to the pool shell.
Also, the reason for a decrease in the water level in the tank may be:
- leaking gasket in the filtration system;
- puncture of a part of the pipeline that works to suck in water;
- malfunction of the valve located in the drain part.
The damage, located at the bottom of the pool, is accompanied by the accumulation of particles of debris and dirt around the leak. To accurately diagnose and repair the reservoir bowl, it is necessary to drain it.
Repair technology
In order to repair damage using a repair kit, you need to:
- Mark the hole with a marker.
- Degrease the surface with an alcohol-containing substance.
- Clean the edge of the damage with sandpaper with minimal abrasiveness (for rubber surfaces).
- Apply a thin layer of waterproof glue to the vinyl patch and glue it to the surface of the damaged product. For a stronger adhesion of materials, you need to apply force when gluing.
- Place the repair area under a press or press down with a heavy object.
- Dry for at least 24 hours.
On a note! Once the flaws are removed, the tank should not leak.
How to seal a frame pool along the seam
In case of leakage at the joints use:
- Waterproof sealant for small holes and patches of the required size. The patches are placed on both sides, the waiting time is two days.
- Industrial dryer. An economical option for obtaining a factory seam, but the work is painstaking. Additionally, take strips of PVC materials, the size is 1-2 cm larger than the hole. Drain the water, degrease the surfaces and use a hairdryer to heat the materials until slightly melting, after which they are combined.
- Bitumen tape. Cut out the patch and heat it with a hair dryer. It is necessary to seal the seam from the inside the first time. From the outside, the tape is heated with a hairdryer, the patch melts and seals the hole.
Repair kit
Often such a set is supplied with the product. It includes a patch and special glue. If you do not have such a repair kit or have already used it, you can purchase it separately. These kits are sold in stores that sell swimming pools or inflatable boats.
Patches must be selected according to size and color. If you are the owner of a large frame pool, purchase flaps made of reinforced fabric so that they can withstand water pressure.
Prevention of leakage
Recommendations for caring for your pool will help keep it from developing holes longer:
- Regularly inspect the tank and drain valve for integrity.
- Clean the bowl and hoses regularly with special products.
- Do not use piercing or sharp objects in the pool.
- Do not allow pets into the pool: they can tear the linen with their claws and teeth.
- Do not install the pool on uneven surfaces or near trees and bushes.
- Place bedding before installation.
- At the installation site, remove unnecessary objects, stones, branches, and do not tilt the pool on its side.
- Cover the bowl with an awning at night.
- Do not leave the pool in the sun for a long time.
- When installing the model, use a special film.
- Do not lean on the sides, do not push off sharply from the walls.
The average service life of a frame pool is 4-7 years. The duration depends on the operating conditions, the regularity of preventive measures and the quality of repair work. The work is carried out in compliance with safety precautions, adhering to the manufacturer’s recommendations for working with repair kits and sealant. In difficult leakage situations, you should contact specialists or a service center for help to seal the Intex frame pool.
What to do if you can’t seal it?
In situations where the punctures and damage are really serious and cannot be repaired using sealant or waterproof glue with patches, it is recommended to contact a specialist. It is necessary to find craftsmen who work with rubber and/or polyvinyl chloride materials. Usually in large cities there are large specialized companies that carry out such repair work.

Preventing the problem from recurring
Once repaired, it is important to prevent the hole from appearing in the pool wall again. The second time it may become larger, so you will need to buy a new bowl.
Adhere to the following preventive rules:
- installation of the structure on a flat surface where there are no branches, stones, or other foreign objects;
- Only clean water is used for filling;
- when cold weather sets in, the pool is cleaned, folded, and put away in a safe place.
Carrying out work
Work to repair damage to the base of a frame pool can also be done at home. To do this, first of all you will need to determine the location of the hole . In addition to possible defects, natural evaporation can be the cause of water loss. To eliminate this factor, a number of actions should be taken.
Using a waterproof marker, a mark is made on the side showing the water level. Another large container is placed nearby; you can use, for example, a basin, in which a mark is also placed. After 24 hours, the fluid level is checked. If it changes equally in both tanks, then we are talking about natural evaporation. If the water in the pool drains faster, this is evidence of a leak.
Water leakage may occur for another reason. Sometimes it's a problem with the supply piping system. It might just be leaking. For this reason, it is necessary to monitor changes in levels throughout the day. In addition, you should turn the pump on and off from time to time, while still monitoring the level. In the case when a leak occurs while the pump is running, the problem is in the pipeline; if after it is turned off, then the problem is in the bowl.
Water leakage may also be caused by a faulty drain valve. If the gasket is leaking, do not be surprised that fluid will leak.
Replacing the element will help in this situation.
If it is the bowl that is leaking, you can notice this by several signs. If there is a hole at the bottom, debris will constantly collect around it. To find a leak in the wall, you can add food coloring to the water. The movement of the liquid will show where exactly the damage is located.
Once the defect has been found, repair work can begin. To do this, the surface in the damaged area is degreased. There are only two patches: one is glued on the outside, the other on the inside. It is best to drain the liquid and dry the surface.
To repair the bottom, the algorithm of actions will be the same. The surface will need to be rolled. It is best to warm up the patches with a hair dryer. A press is placed on top, the role of which can be played by any heavy object. This area should dry for about a day.
Experts note that regardless of whether a hairdryer is used or not, sanding the surface is prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule can lead to the formation of new defects.
Materials for sealing the pool
You can seal the Intex pool yourself by using the repair kit, which the manufacturer carefully provides in the box with your purchase. You can also purchase a repair kit separately. If there are no such possibilities, we use other materials to eliminate leaks.
You can prepare your own repair kit from the following ingredients:
- adhesive composition. To seal the Intex pool, you can use superglue, rubber glue or special glue for polyvinyl chloride materials;
- PVC patch. This can be durable PVC film or similar material (old swimming pool, advertising banners, etc.). The dimensions must be larger than the leakage area;
- degreasing composition. Gasoline without adding oil, acetone or an alcohol solution are suitable;
- fine-grained sandpaper;
- brush or cotton swab.
Use all listed materials and devices. Without the use of degreaser or sandpaper, the seal will not be reliable.
How to fix a leak yourself?
High-quality repairs are only possible on a dry, grease-free surface. However, repairs are also possible in a filled pool bowl.
Without water
If it is possible to release the water, then the work is carried out as follows:
Empty and dry the bowl, degrease the work surface. To do this, you can use rags treated with gasoline, alcohol or cologne.
But acetone and other solvents are not suitable, since some types of rubber are not resistant to them.
Once the glue has completely dried (the required time is usually indicated on the instructions), you can add water to the pool and check the security of the patch.
For work you can use:
- Adhesive-based repair kits or adhesive tapes from sporting goods stores - you need to measure out a patch of the appropriate size and attach it to the inside of the bowl, and then attach a similar one to the outside.
- “Liquid patch” - the solution is simple to use: you need to degrease the work surface, shake the tube and treat the break with a continuous layer. After such repairs, the pool must dry for at least two days.
Acceptable and unacceptable methods of repairing Intex
If an Intex home pool leaks, use techniques to eliminate damage to the frame:
a special repair kit from the Intex brand (if it is not available, purchase it at a specialized store) - patches of different diameters, PVC glue, a pair of gloves;- the use of adhesive tape, available only for frame pools, since its base is rigid;
- use of water-repellent glue;
- applying a liquid patch;
- use of sealant intended for swimming pool repairs.
Some people use inappropriate methods to repair damage.
The following techniques cannot be performed:
- use fire to melt the damaged area;
- use objects not intended for this purpose as patches (plasters, fabric, oilcloth);
- use glue that melts the structure of the pool (for example, Moment);
- the use of any methods in an insufficiently dried pool.
After sealing, the damage is rechecked. If air passes through repeatedly, the repair may have been carried out incorrectly.
What to prepare?
If there are holes in the pool, it is advisable to repair them immediately. To do this, you will need a material with which you can seal the hole.
To repair an inflatable pool, you need to prepare:
- stationery tape and adhesive tape - suitable only if the hole is small;
- a special kit for repairing inflatable structures - it is sold in any store that sells PVC products;
- waterproof adhesive designed for sealing holes in inflatable pools.
If the puncture on the inflatable pool is small, then you can do without patches - professional glue will be enough. And if the damage is significant, it is advisable to contact a specialized workshop.
To eliminate a defect in a frame structure, you must have on hand:
- patch;
- sealant;
- professional vinyl glue.
If the damage is minor, sealant will be sufficient; otherwise, a patch in the form of a special film or piece of polyvinyl chloride will be needed.
Looking for the puncture site
To deal with the leak problem, you first need to understand where exactly the pool is damaged. This is often not so easy to do.
In general, water decreases for various reasons:
- natural evaporation of liquid,
- filter problems,
- damage to the walls or bottom.
Evaporation of water
In some cases, the pool is not damaged at all, but the rapid decrease in the amount of water is due to dry, windy and hot weather. To accurately determine whether water is evaporating, you need to perform a small experiment:
- Pour water of the same temperature into the pool and bucket.
- In both containers, make marks on the inside wall so that you can track the drop in level.
- After a day, make marks again and compare the distance between daily measurements - if it is the same, then the water really just evaporates.
Understanding the filter
If it is established that water evaporation has nothing to do with it, then we move on to the next step. You need to understand whether the wall or bottom of the pool is broken, or whether the fault lies in the filtration system. Yes, sometimes this problem occurs. It’s just that the gasket in the filter may be defective, incorrectly installed, or old.
Dried rubber does not do a good job of sealing and quite often a thin gap forms through which water flows out quite quickly. Examine it and replace it if damage is detected - often this will solve the problem.

Looking for a leak in the pool
Most often, punctures occur in the valve, which is located in the drain part. But in general, a hole in a pool can be located anywhere. It will not necessarily be large - even through a tiny hole quite a lot of water will flow out per day. Causes of damage:
- pets,
- children's pranks,
- unsuccessful installation.
How to find a leak:
- If you are repairing an inflatable children's pool, you can apply a thick soap solution to the outer surface. Bubbles will appear at the puncture site quite quickly, after which it will not be at all difficult to localize the damage.
- There are more problems with frame pools. Typically, specialists use a coloring pigment sold in specialized stores. It is enough to throw a small amount in different parts of the pool and carefully monitor the movement of the colored jets. From the nearest portion of dye, thin currents will rush towards the puncture. After this, it will be much easier to understand where exactly the damage is located.
Gluing a patch to a pool
The pre-drained pool must be placed in a bright place so that the leak can be clearly seen. Repair work should not be carried out in cloudy or rainy weather.
The patch is glued in the following order:
- preparing the patch. It is necessary to cut the patch from the prepared PVC material. It should protrude beyond the edges of the hole or leak by no less than 3 cm;
- treat the edges of the leak and patches with a degreaser;
- Wipe the surfaces that will be glued to each other with fine-grit sandpaper. This will ensure optimal adhesion of the sides and the adhesive;
- re-treat the surfaces with a degreaser;
- dry the repair area;
- Apply glue around the perimeter of the patch and along the edges of the leak;
- Depending on the glue used, allow time to cure. If you are using superglue, start gluing immediately;
- attach the patch to the gluing area, carefully straightening the edges;
- ensure a tight fit of the surfaces and fix the patch;
- Press firmly on the edges to be sealed and leave the repair area for the time specified by the adhesive manufacturer.
Sealing must be done from the inside of the frame pool. If this is an Intex inflatable pool, then the same measures are carried out on either side. For frame PVC containers, it is safer to seal them on both sides. If you followed all the recommendations correctly, the patch will be securely installed.
Rules for using and storing an inflatable pool
Requirements for installation and operation of the bowl can be found in the instructions.
The rules are simple:
- Install on a flat base without piercing or cutting objects, stumps, etc. Experienced users use old carpets, thick foam rubber, and thick tarpaulin as bedding.
- They don't jump off the sides. Household hot tubs do not have the required depth; deformation of the side under the weight threatens to cause the foundation to break.
- Do not use for other purposes.
- Pour water in the volume specified by the manufacturer.
- Regularly clean the walls, check the integrity of the bowl and equipment.
Store the products folded in a cool, dark place, after washing and drying the bowl.
Important! During the process of dismantling and releasing air from the structure, no force is used. By pressing to quickly release air, the owner risks deforming the product and tearing it along the seam.
How to avoid new damage
Provided proper and careful use, the air mattress will last a long time without any complaints.
To do this, it is important to follow the manufacturer's recommendations:
- For storage and transportation, use a special bag-case;
- Before storing for storage, thoroughly dry the surfaces;
- If it is expected that the product will not be used for a long period of time, before placing it in the case, the rubber surface is treated with talc;
- Do not overinflate the mattress;
- Keep the product away from pets, and also tell children about the rules of use, the inadmissibility of active games and jumping;
- When releasing air, do not speed up the process by squeezing, so as not to damage the valve;
- Keep the product away from sharp objects and open fire.
Most manufacturers confidently say that their products can last at least 5 years, but if operating rules are followed, proper maintenance and repairs are performed, this period increases.
Leak repair process
If your PVC pool suddenly starts deflating, it’s time to take action. First of all, you need to find the hole. It can be either one or several. Several methods can be used for detection. You can try inflating the rings one by one, immersing them in water one after another. If there is a puncture, air will escape through it, manifested by the appearance of bubbles on the surface.
If the tank is large enough, you can do it easier. A thick soap foam is whipped up, which must be slowly applied to the tightly inflated rings. The escaping air will also form bubbles.
Defects found are marked on the surface using a bright marker to make them easier to find when repairing. After this you can start working. A patch is placed on the leak site and outlined with a felt-tip pen. After this, the area must be thoroughly treated. To do this, it is cleaned, wiped dry and treated with fine sandpaper. Next, degreasing is carried out using a solvent, for example, alcohol or gasoline.
After that, it's time to move on to sealing the hole. Glue is applied to the damaged area and a patch is placed on top. For more reliable gluing, after 5-10 minutes it must be pressed tightly to the surface. You can roll the area with a regular glass bottle.
The use of liquid patch follows a different principle. It is applied to the puncture site in a very thick layer and left there for 1-2 days. If the hole is large enough, more than 3 centimeters, its edges must be sewn together using PVC threads before processing. This will help improve the connection.
Modern materials make it possible to seal the inside of even a pool filled with water. If draining takes a long time and summer is in full swing, temporary repairs can be done. In this situation, the only thing that can be done is to install patches on both sides of the tank. You can buy repair kits in sports stores; they are presented in a fairly wide range. Such patches are a tape with an adhesive layer on one side. To repair the pool wall, you will need to cut the patch to the required size, remove the protective coating and place it on the puncture site, first from the inside and then from the outside of the pool.
The scheme for working with a number of adhesive mixtures and patches is slightly different from the usual one. You need to apply glue to a piece of special oilcloth, after which it bends in half for a couple of minutes. Patches are also glued to both sides of the puncture. However, experts urge that the option when the pool is repaired without draining the water is temporary. After the end of the season, more serious repair work is required.
