Made from soap without tetraborate and glue

Components:

  1. 50 g. rose soap;
  2. 3 tbsp. l. water;
  3. 1 tsp liquid soap (Johnson's Baby hand cream or body lotion);
  4. 2 tbsp. l. potato starch;
  5. 6 tbsp. l. shaving foam;
  6. a pinch of baking soda;
  7. 1 tbsp. l. solution for contact lenses;
  8. dye.

The basis of the future slime will be rose soap, fill them with warm water and mix until smooth so that there are no lumps left. Next, you will need any liquid soap, if there is no soap, replace it with johnson's baby hand cream or body lotion, mix thoroughly. The next ingredient is potato starch, which is not expensive and can be purchased at the grocery store. You can replace the starch with baby powder or use cornstarch and mix until smooth.

Add shaving foam; if you don’t have shaving foam at home, you can make it from water and shampoo. Next, paint the slime any color. To thicken the slime, add a pinch of baking soda and contact lens liquid; this activator works very well when paired with soda. Add the thickener gradually and do not forget to stir.

When the slime begins to come away from the walls of the dish, take it in your hands and knead it for 2-3 minutes. As an additive for slime, you can add decorative balls or glitter. Hurray, our airy fluffy slime is ready, it’s so fluffy and fun to squeeze with your hands.

Rules for caring for a toy

In order for the slime to be of high quality and serve for a long time, you need to follow some rules for caring for it:

  1. The main rule when caring for a chewy toy is that it should be stored in an airtight container after cooking.
  2. Slime can stain the carpet and clothes, so it is better to play with it on a table or on a special surface.
  3. The slime should be regularly “fed”, that is, add water if it has become thick, and salt if it has become watery.
  4. If the slime becomes dirty, you can wash it, but not under running water, but soak it in a bowl of water.
  5. If the contaminants are too large, they can be removed using a regular medical syringe: the mass is loaded inside the syringe and squeezed out without a needle.

Soap slimes are created very easily and quickly, and the result will delight a child or adult. Although these toys may not last long, their life can be extended by storing them in containers in the refrigerator. Don’t forget about precautions when working with slime ingredients. Work should be carried out with clean hands and components should not come into contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Made from two ingredients: soap and flour

Simple recipe:

  1. 2-3 tbsp. spoons of liquid soap;
  2. 5-6 tbsp. spoons of flour;
  3. dye.

To begin with, take any liquid soap and add 2-3 tablespoons to the dishes, cover it all with six tablespoons of flour. Mix thoroughly as usual. For beauty, take some dye and color the slime. And now our flour slime is ready; it is made very quickly, and also dries quickly, but you can easily make a new one, in about 5 minutes.

From soap and film mask

Proven recipe:

  • 30 ml water;
  • 30 ml liquid soap;
  • mask film (approximately 50 ml);
  • sodium tetraborate.

Pour clear liquid soap or shampoo into the container, mix the same amount of water. After the entrance comes a film mask and a thickener. You will get a white slime with air bubbles, put it in a container and leave it for 2-3 days until it becomes transparent.

From soap and glue

Components:

  1. 7 tbsp. l. PVA glue;
  2. 4 tbsp. l. liquid soap;
  3. ½ tsp. sodium tetraborate;
  4. dye or glitter as desired.

Pour liquid soap and PVA glue into the container, mix it all thoroughly, you can add glitter and paint it any color. Then gradually add sodium tetraborate until the slime begins to thicken, remove the slime from the bowl and knead it with your hands until ready.

Which soap is suitable

Soap slime will quickly deteriorate if low-quality ingredients are used. To make a toy, it must contain 2 basic components:

  • Polysaccharide or other polymers (glue, film mask). They are hydrophilic, so the slime acquires the properties of a non-Newtonian liquid. Its density depends on the speed of external influence. The higher the speed, the greater the density of the material.
  • Thickener (borax, lens fluid, glycerin with sodium tetraborate). Thickener molecules increase the viscosity of the liquid component. Thanks to this, the slime is elastic, elastic and pliable.

When choosing soap, you need to consider several basic parameters:

  • Consistency. Only thick soap is suitable for slime. If it is too liquid, the toy will not take the desired shape.
  • Compound. If children will play with slime, it is advisable to buy soap with a minimum content of surfactants. They consist of salts of various acids and metals, and are therefore very toxic.
  • Color. To prepare an unusual glowing or shiny slime with additional components, it is better to use colorless soap.

To make slime, you don't have to use expensive products. Thick dishwashing liquid or hand soap will work as a base.

From liquid soap

What you need for slime:

  1. 6 pumps of liquid soap;
  2. 30 ml water;
  3. 100 ml PVA glue;
  4. 1 teaspoon sodium tetraborate;
  5. glitter;
  6. dye.

Pour liquid soap into a container, add a few drops of acrylic paint, add water, and mix thoroughly until the mass is homogeneous. We use tetraborate thickener or liquid starch. After the slime begins to come off the wall of the dish, leave it on the table for 3 hours and then knead it in your hands for 2-3 minutes.

Precautionary measures

You need to know not only how to make slime from soap. It is also important to remember that when playing with slime, you must follow minimum safety precautions. It is very important to avoid getting it on any mucous surface, be it the mouth or eyes. Otherwise, severe irritation and redness of the membranes, even swelling, may develop.

You also need to make sure that the components of the liquid soap slime do not provoke the development of an allergic reaction. If the toy contains components that can lead to this, it is best not to use it.

Additionally, we recommend that you wash your hands every time you touch the slime. This will be an excellent prevention of skin irritation, drying and other unpleasant consequences.

From liquid soap and toothpaste

Ingredients for slime:

  1. 3 tbsp. spoons of ordinary tap water;
  2. 1/2 teaspoon of liquid soap (you can take shower gel or shampoo);
  3. 6 tbsp. PVA glue;
  4. 1 tbsp. shaving foam;
  5. a little bit of toothpaste (1 pea);
  6. sodium tetraborate;
  7. food coloring.

First, pour 3 tablespoons of ordinary tap water into the dishes, add ½ teaspoon of liquid soap and mix it all, and you can even beat it until foam forms.

Let's put a little toothpaste, this is so that the slime stretches, if we add too much foam to the slime it will look like an airy lump, but we need it to stretch, so we add a little toothpaste.

After we add the coloring, I add dry food coloring, but you can add any coloring you have, mix everything. And now we add 6 spoons of working glue here, I add buromax pva glue. Mix all this until smooth. Now we add shaving foam a little at a time, then a thickener - sodium tetraborate, or naphthyzine with soda, liquid for contact lenses, but I would not recommend boric acid and liquid washing powder because they dry out your hands.

Stir until the slime begins to stick from the walls of the dish, and now our airy slime is ready; it crunches well, stretches and clicks. Hooray!!!

Adding Flavor

Flavorings are divided into cosmetic and food. Cosmetics are also called “fragrances”. They consist exclusively of synthetic artificial components. Please note that this number also includes strong-smelling fragrances used for automotive products and household chemicals. Of course, they are more caustic and aggressive.

An elastic toy should not be created using caustic or artificial fragrances.

In contact with the skin, a person experiences unpleasant itching and allergic reactions. The body, which cannot tolerate artificial flavors and synthetic substances, becomes covered with itching and red rashes that spoil the aesthetic appearance.

Even if a person is allergic to just one component in the composition, it is still not suitable. The toy can cause harm to those who make it and those who use it. The health issue here is very serious. The cosmetic alternative is less harmful to use and more popular in the market. Any scent you like!

The safest flavorings are food grade. Choose a liquid form rather than a gel or dry form. In online stores selling elastic toys, there is an assortment of food flavorings for every taste:

  • peanut butter;
  • wavy toffee;
  • cake cream;
  • cappuccino;
  • caramel candy;
  • cheesecake;
  • cinnamon roll;
  • coconut;
  • strawberry;
  • apple;
  • boiled condensed milk.

Taste is a serious argument for quickly moving from words to action!

From soap and water

Slime ingredients:

  1. 1 teaspoon of laundry soap;
  2. 50 ml warm water;
  3. ½ tsp. shampoo;
  4. 1 teaspoon of office glue and PVA;
  5. Pemos washing gel;
  6. soda.

Pour ½ tsp into the bowl. any shampoo, add a pinch of soda, then add 1 tsp. PVA glue and 1 tsp. stationery transparent glue.

Let's take another container, pour some warm water here and dissolve 1 teaspoon of laundry soap in it (it needs to be crumbled).

Now we’ll pour this water into the first container, where the glue and slime should begin to curl. If it doesn't thicken, add another pinch of baking soda, and if that doesn't help, add Pemos washing gel.

From soap and soda

What to make slime from:

  1. 2 tsp. liquid soap;
  2. 4 tsp. PVA glue moment joiner;
  3. 1 pea of toothpaste;
  4. a pinch of soda;
  5. dye.

First, add liquid soap and PVA glue to the container, also add a little toothpaste, mix everything thoroughly so that the slime turns out beautiful, add a little dye and mix everything again.

Then add a little soda at a time, if there is not enough, add a little more soda to thicken the glue. You can use any transparent or PVA glue, but the main thing is that it is thick and workable.

And now you should get a slime that stretches, crunches, and has a very elastic texture. This is one of the best recipes without sodium tetraborate, without Persil gel, without Teymurov spray. I advise everyone to try making this slime at home.

Why won't there be slime without the flour component?

Flour is rightfully considered one of the most accessible components for creating slimes. Any slimer will tell you this. The hand toy created on its basis is very pleasant to the touch. And although such a slime cannot stretch, it is a pleasure to knead it.

It is simply impossible to spoil gum for hands made from flour, even if you choose the wrong proportions of the components. You can always add a little bulk or liquid ingredient. If the slime sticks to your palms, add a little more flour.

The type of product used to create slime does not matter. But if you are looking for a budget and popular option, then it is best to opt for wheat flour. Without this baking product, you won’t be able to knead slime, because it is the basis of a homemade toy.

From soap and sugar

Slime ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. liquid soap;
  • 3 tsp. shampoo;
  • 10 tbsp. l. Sahara;
  • 1 tsp. water;
  • 3 pinches of soda.

The first thing we need to do is pour shampoo into a container and add liquid soap there, mix it all. Add water so that the slime is not too thick. Add sugar and mix again. Add baking soda and knead in your hands until the slime stops sticking.

How to store at home?

To extend the “service life” of the slime, you must follow the following recommendations:

  • store the slime in a container with a tight-fitting lid;
  • do not leave the toy in the cold;
  • prevent contamination;
  • do not put into water.

Homemade slime retains its original consistency for 10 days. If this toy begins to emit an unpleasant odor or mold appears on the surface of the mass, the slime should be thrown away.

From soap and shampoo

The cooking process will take a long time to turn the liquid and light plasticine into slime.

Proven recipe:

  1. 10 tbsp. l. PVA glue;
  2. 4 tbsp. l. liquid soap;
  3. 10 tbsp. l. shaving foam;
  4. 8 tbsp. l. shampoo;
  5. 2 packs of light plasticine;
  6. 1-2 teaspoons of a solution of water and soda.

Add PVA glue, shaving foam, shampoo and liquid soap to the container, mix everything. Afterwards you need to add light plasticine. Mixing it all with a spoon will not work; you need to dip the plasticine into the container with liquid ingredients and knead it all with your hands. After you knead the plasticine, add 1-2 teaspoons of a solution of water and soda.

From soap and toilet paper

Ingredients:

  1. 15-20 cm paper;
  2. 15-30 ml of liquid soap;
  3. 30 gr. film masks;
  4. ½ teaspoon of Levomycetin eye drops;
  5. food coloring;
  6. a pinch of soda.

This is a very simple recipe for airy slime without glue. We will need toilet paper, unusual toilet paper, and two-layer, you can use a napkin. We tear toilet paper into pieces into a container, then fill it with liquid soap or thick shampoo or shower gel, and carefully mix everything, even beat it into foam, we should get an airy mass.

Add dye, regular watercolor paint or food coloring of any color. Next, add the main ingredient - a film mask. If you don’t have a film mask, add PVA glue and mix everything thoroughly.

Add a pinch of soda and use Levomycetin eye drops as a thickener, the mass will immediately begin to coagulate. At this point, you need to stir slowly because the slime will foam too much, and we don’t want that. It is necessary that it remains airy, and then knead by hand it should turn out very beautiful and airy, like a cloud.

Dyes for slime

The ability to color slime when creating a house provides an excellent opportunity to get a toy in your favorite color. You can use the following materials:

  • dry or gel food coloring;
  • gouache;
  • acrylic paints;
  • brilliant green;
  • juices of vegetables and herbs (from beets, carrots, spinach);
  • dry ground spices (turmeric, saffron).

Preference is given to industrial food dyes, since they dissolve and mix with the mass of the toy most easily, and also, if the dyes are of high quality, they do not leave marks on the hands. However, even in this case, you should be careful not to add too much dye, since at the end of the game you risk being left with different colored hands for several hours.

From soap and dishwashing liquid

What you need for slime:

  • 15-30 ml soap;
  • 15 ml detergent;
  • 60 ml PVA glue;
  • a pinch of baking soda;
  • ½ teaspoon Levomycytin eye drops.

To make slime, pour PVA glue into a container, add liquid soap and beat it all into a foam, then add dishwashing liquid and continue whisking. Add a pinch of baking soda and Levomycetin eye drops. The mass will begin to thicken, and you will get a nice, airy slime.

Soap bubble slime

What to make slime from:

  1. half a jar of soap bubbles;
  2. 1 tsp. shampoo;
  3. 3 tsp. PVA glue;
  4. 2 tsp. thickener (Teymurov spray, eye drops, etc.)

Method of making slime

Pour liquid soap bubbles into a container with now liquid soap and mix gently, but do not whip into foam. Add any working glue, PVA glue or transparent stationery glue, it doesn’t matter, the main thing is that it is thickened with an activator and again mix everything thoroughly, without whipping it into foam. When we have mixed everything, add any activator you have, also called a thickener, anything sodium tetraborate, boric acid, naphthysine with soda, liquid for contact lenses, liquid washing powder.

In this recipe, the thickener will be Teymurov spray. When the slime is ready, you can blow it through a straw.
