This slime is prepared very easily and quickly with just one ingredient, so even a child can handle it. It is safe to prepare and does not require much skill.
Cooking method in stages:
Pour thick shower gel into a bowl.
Let it evaporate for two minutes. We wait for the mass to cool and place it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Slime for children is ready!
Tip: to prevent the finished slime from sticking to your hands, you can grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil!
Non-standard recipes
We want to draw your attention to even more interesting slimes. It will also be very easy to prepare them, but as a result they will turn out original, bright and beautiful.
With gouache
You will need the following ingredients: salt, glue and shampoo, as well as gouache. At the first stage, mix glue and shampoo, then add salt.
After this, when the mass becomes as homogeneous as possible, add paint. You can add it in any quantity. The more gouache you have, the more intense the shade of the slime from shampoo and glue will be.
Without sodium tetraborate
To form a slime, use one bottle of PVA glue, four tbsp. l. shampoo and two capsules used for washing. How to make slime from glue:
- mix glue and shampoo - you can use a blender to speed up the algorithm;
- add washing gel obtained from capsules to the composition;
- beat the mixture and leave it for 20–25 minutes to let it settle.
As soon as the future slime made from PVA and shampoo without sodium tetraborate thickens, you can play with it.
With liquid soap
Mixing shampoo, toothpaste and liquid soap will help you get a firm and elastic anti-stress. Use all components in equal proportions.
Pour them into a single container. Then mix the future slime from the shampoo thoroughly. After the composition is homogeneous, it is sent to the refrigerator. There it will reach the desired consistency, and it will be quite possible to play with it at home.
With corn starch
This product will give the slime a more pleasant and delicate texture. In addition, you will have to use significantly less corn starch than potato starch.
Combine shampoo, glue and other ingredients. Then add starch, mix everything well and place in the refrigerator for 30–40 minutes. After this, a beautiful and light slime is ready.
From shower gel
Prepare two tbsp in advance. l. wheat flour. You will also need half a glass of shower gel and hair product.
How to make slime from flour and shampoo:
- Mix shower gel and hair product in full;
- gradually add flour, mixing the mixture thoroughly so that there are no lumps;
- Immediately after forming a homogeneous composition, place it in the refrigerator - preferably in the door or on the bottom shelf.

Making slime at home from glue, water and paints
Three-ingredient slime is prepared just as quickly and easily as the first. Only it is based on office glue, paints and water. By the way, if you like transparent slimes, then it is not necessary to use paints in this recipe.

- Paints (optional)
Cooking method in stages:
Squeeze the transparent glue into a container.
Add water.
Stir until the glue curls and does not stick to your hands.
Tip: if you wish, you can add a flavor (artificial or essential oil) and gouache or acrylic paints (any color) to the glue. Just do this before mixing with water!
Storage Features
If you use slime made from water and other ingredients for a while, we recommend that you store it in a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. This will allow the toy to retain its elasticity longer.
Please note that slime should not be stored for more than one month. Avoid leaving small debris or other particles on the toy. Often this even causes the shampoo slime to spoil. Therefore, clean it after use and monitor the playing conditions.
How to make slime at home from baking soda, glue and water?
This slime is very easy to prepare, but takes longer than the previous two. Its main advantage is that it turns out just like in a store and does not stick to your hands.

- Soda
- PVA glue
- Water
- Gouache
- Wooden stick
Cooking method in stages:
Squeeze PVA glue into a bowl.
Using a wooden stick, add paint of your favorite color and mix it thoroughly.
Pour a couple of pinches of soda into a glass of water.
Gradually pour a teaspoon of dissolved soda into the glue, continuing to stir. Mix everything thoroughly for a couple of minutes and get a cool slime!

Not everyone can make a slime prepared according to this recipe. Because no thickener is used here. But for the sake of experiment, you can try it, especially since it’s very simple and inexpensive!

How to make slime at home from shaving foam and salt?
This recipe is suitable for advanced slimers who have already made dozens of slimes with their own hands. The ingredients are available, but the cooking technology is quite complex. And a good result is not guaranteed.
We will need:
- Shaving foam
- Salt
- Thick shampoo
- Paint (acrylic or food grade)
Cooking method in stages:
Pour thick shampoo into a bowl.
Add shaving foam.
Add paint and mix everything thoroughly.
Add salt, mix and steam our mixture. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

How to make edible slime at home?
